The #1 question in Grow a Garden 2 is how do I make my plants bigger and heavier? Weight is what makes a crop valuable — sell value scales ~weight2.65, so a single weight-double is worth about 6.3×. Pick a crop to see how heavy it can get, the odds of a big/huge roll, and exactly what each weight is worth. The way to push weight up is size luck (1% double chance at 0 luck up to 5% at the 100 cap) — build it from sprinklers below.

Weight ranges from 0.85× to 17.5× the base weight in the normal range. Beyond the cap, lucky weight-doubles multiply weight by 2 each time. Rarity: Super.
| Size | Multiplier | Weight range | ~Odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tiny | ×0.85–1.15 | 10.94–14.80 kg | 5.0% |
| Small | ×2.8–3.3 | 36.03–42.46 kg | 14.3% |
| Medium | ×4–5 | 51.47–64.34 kg | 24.2% |

| Cap | ×14.5–17.5 | 186.58–225.18 kg | 3.82% |
Odds shown apply at maximum size luck (100). At lower size luck, big sizes are rarer. Weight = multiplier × base weight.

Set your size luck (0–100). Higher size luck raises the chance each harvest rolls a weight-double — that's how crops break past the normal 225.2 kg cap into huge, high-value territory.

Lucky doubles start from the normal 225.2 kg cap. Values use your current mutation and friend settings above. With 100 size luck, a single ×2 double is ~1 in 20 harvests.
Max your size luck (100 cap) with sprinklers — that raises your weight-double chance, the only way to push a plant past its normal weight cap. Water before planting, let crops grow fully, and harvest in volume so the big rolls add up. Mutations multiply value, not size.
Weight is a multiplier on the crop's base weight: 0.85× (min) up to 17.5× (cap) in the normal range, across set size bands. Lucky doubles multiply weight by 2 each beyond the cap. Sell value then scales ~weight2.65.
Size luck is the additive sum of your sprinklers' size luck (cap 100). It sets your weight-double chance — 1% at 0 luck up to 5% at the cap. It's odds, not a flat multiplier.
Up to 17.5× base weight in the normal range (about 225.2 kg for Moon Bloom), then lucky doubles stack on top — each consecutive double multiplies weight by 2, so an exceptional plant goes far past the cap.
A lot. Value scales ~weight2.65, so doubling weight multiplies value by about 6.3×. Weight is the biggest lever on a crop's worth; mutations and friend boosts multiply on top. See exact payouts in the value calculator.
Moon Bloom has the highest base weight (~12.87 kg). Mushroom is the most valuable at base weight. Heavier crops produce the biggest absolute weights, so they gain the most from maxed size luck.
