Short answer: yes. Eldorado.gg is a long-running marketplace with published seller rules, a documented dispute process and one of the larger independent review records in the game-trading space. The interesting question isn't whether it's a scam — it isn't — but how its buyer protection actually behaves, because there's one button that switches it off.

What Eldorado is
Eldorado.gg is a marketplace for game currency, items, accounts and boosting across many titles. Roblox is one of its biggest sections — its homepage currently bills itself as the largest Steal a Brainrot marketplace and the #1 Roblox marketplace. Those are their claims, not verified third-party figures, but the scale is real enough: item landing pages we looked at display an order counter reading "From last 357,235 orders".
As with any marketplace, Eldorado doesn't own the stock. Sellers list, buyers buy, Eldorado sits in the middle holding the payment and the rulebook.
How a purchase actually runs
Eldorado spells the flow out on its own item pages:
- •Browse offers for the item you want
- •Pick one and pay
- •You're connected to the seller in Eldorado's chat
- •Follow the seller's instructions to receive the item in-game
- •Mark the order as Received
Step 5 is the one to slow down on. Their dispute article states that the "Raise a dispute" button only appears while the order status is Order Delivered — once the status is Completed or Received, the option is gone. It also warns that cancelling a dispute counts as marking the order Received, which ends the protection period. The rule is simple: confirm nothing until the correct item is genuinely in your inventory.
The dispute process, in their own words
This is where Eldorado is genuinely strong, and it deserves credit. Their published process:
- •Contact the seller first; raise a dispute if they're unresponsive or the delivery window has passed
- •Buyer and seller then have 24 hours to submit evidence in the order chat
- •For currency and item orders, the seller has 2 hours to upload proof of delivery — fail that and the order may be refunded in full
- •For account and boosting orders, the seller gets 12 hours
- •A resolution team reviews and decides; most disputes resolve within about 3 days
- •If it goes your way, the order is cancelled and the money is refunded to your Eldorado balance
The seller rules behind that are similarly concrete. Sellers must be 18+, must keep communication and payment on-platform, may not advertise elsewhere, and face a stated zero-tolerance policy on scams — with funds held up to 30 days to repay affected buyers where fraud is found. Marking an order delivered prematurely explicitly makes the buyer eligible for a full refund.
Publishing all of that openly is a mark in Eldorado's favour. A lot of sites in this category publish nothing you can hold them to.
The honest weak points
Refunds land on your balance. Per their dispute article, a won dispute refunds to your Eldorado balance. That's normal for marketplaces and fine if you're buying again, but it isn't the same as money back on your card.
Protection is a window, not a guarantee. It depends on you not clicking Received, and on you raising the dispute inside the right status. That's a lot of process for a teenager buying a $6 item at 11pm.
Seller variance is the model. Eldorado's rules are good; enforcement is after the fact. A bad seller can still waste your evening before the system corrects it. Their initial-response requirement — sellers must reply within 30 minutes on longer-delivery item orders, or orders may be auto-cancelled — is a sensible mitigation, but it's a mitigation, not a fix.
No review stars in search, which cuts both ways. Eldorado publishes its order counts as plain text rather than structured review data, so you won't see an aggregate rating next to it in Google. Nothing wrong with that — just don't read the absence as a bad sign.
The account-risk question
Nobody in this market should dodge this. Roblox's Terms of Use say Robux and virtual content may only be acquired through Roblox's own services, and that third-party services doing otherwise breach those terms. Eldorado can't opt out of that. Neither can U7BUY, and neither can BloxUltra.
What that means practically: the exposure isn't usually a marketplace's paperwork, it's the trade itself. Never hand over account credentials — Eldorado's own seller rules forbid delivery methods that put a buyer's game account at risk, which tells you they know it too. Eldorado vs a direct seller (our stake, plainly)
We're the other model: a direct seller. BloxUltra Ltd owns the items it lists, so there's no seller lottery and no dispute triangle — if a delivery fails, it's our fault and our problem, and payment runs on Stripe and PayPal with their normal buyer protection. The honest cost of that model is range: a marketplace with thousands of sellers will always list items we don't stock, and will often beat us on price for common items where sellers undercut each other.

Eldorado.gg is legit. It's a mature marketplace that publishes its rules, arbitrates disputes on a documented timetable, and answers almost all of its negative reviews. Buy there with your eyes open: check the seller's rating, keep everything in Eldorado's chat, and don't touch "Received" until the item is in your inventory.
