Short answer: with real money, on a third-party site, and the brainrot reaches you as an in-game trade. Steal a Brainrot does not sell brainrots for Robux, so every route to a specific one runs through a store or a marketplace that takes card or PayPal and hands the item over through the Trade Machine.

Can you buy brainrots with Robux?
Not from inside the game. The Steal a Brainrot wiki describes the Robux Shop as "the secondary location where players can buy gears, gamepasses and cash from" - gear like the laser gun at 749 Robux. Brainrots are not listed as a Robux Shop item. Its gifting option is what people misremember: "It is possible to select 'Gift Player' and then select a player in the same server. Any item you purchase from the Robux Shop during this selection will apply to that player instead." That gifts a Robux Shop purchase, not a brainrot.
So "buy brainrots with Robux" has no official route. In practice it means paying a stranger and trusting them to trade afterwards - no escrow, nobody to appeal to.
The three ways real-money sites deliver
The shape of the site decides what happens when something goes wrong.
1. A store with its own stock. One company lists a price, takes your payment and delivers - no seller lottery, but no escrow either, so the record you trust is the company's. BloxUltra is one; so are bloxboom.com ("97% of Items Delivered <4 minutes"), eznpc.com ("Most orders arrive in 10-60 minutes after confirmation") and rpgstash.com, which promises automated delivery within minutes and says no password is ever requested, only the username.
2. A marketplace of sellers. The platform owns nothing; it rents shelf space, holds the money and arbitrates. Eldorado.gg, U7BUY, odealo.com and igitems.com work this way, with price, speed and rating set per listing - U7BUY showed 3,121 available listings and tells buyers to compare "price, mutation, seller rating, and delivery details". The upside is escrow: Eldorado's TradeShield article says it holds the seller's funds until you receive the order and confirm everything is as expected.
3. A peer trade. eBay listings and Discord deals are individuals, not platforms with in-game protection. Nothing there verifies a brainrot before you pay.
How the in-game trade works
The wiki: "The Trade Machine is a Machine made by SpyderSammy, used for trading Brainrots with other players. Being released On 22th February Admin Abuse, it is one of the best machines in the game, making trading safer and making scamming less possible." (Their spelling.) It also lets you flag the brainrots you are LF - looking for - and check a trade history. There used to be a script that made accepting a trade hand your brainrots to the scripter without giving you theirs; the wiki records it as patched "As of 4/3/2026".
A delivery is that mechanic with a seller on the other side. Ours: we accept your Roblox friend request, invite you to a private server, and complete the in-game trade to your inventory. bloxboom.com describes the same shape - "add our account as a friend, join our game, and accept the trade" - and U7BUY calls its version a "Face-to-Face Trade".
Step by step: buying from a store
- •Pick the brainrot on our brainrot shelf, where each item has a page with its price and income rate.
- •Check the variant - mutations move both income and price, so read the listing, not the name.
- •Pay by card or PayPal - that chargeback route is the only safety net on a store.
- •Give your Roblox username - and only that. No legitimate delivery needs a password.
- •Take the friend request and the private-server invite, then accept the trade. Our product pages state delivery in a 10-15 minute in-game private server.
Step by step: buying on a marketplace
Eldorado publishes its own six steps, the clearest description of the model anyone here puts in writing: "1. Browse the listed Roblox items offers and select what best suits your needs. 2. Carefully read the item descriptions and ensure it match what you're looking for, including potential restrictions. 3. Click the 'Buy Now' button and make a payment with your preferred payment method. 4. Once the payment is confirmed, you'll be connected to the seller via a chat window. 5. The seller will inform you how you can redeem Roblox items in-game within the specified delivery time. 6. Once the Roblox items were successfully obtained, please mark the order as 'Received'." (Their spelling in step 2.)
Step 6 costs people money. Eldorado's TradeShield article says that once an item is "marked as completed, the payment is released to the seller", so marking an order Received is you letting go of the money - do it only when the brainrot is in your inventory. And read the listing, not the site: odealo.com shows delivery as a per-listing estimate - one offer quoted 20 minutes - and flags sellers who have stepped away with "This seller has temporarily closed their shop. Delivery times may be extended."
What to check before you pay
- •Does the site name a legal entity? odealo.com names Odealo Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. with a Polish KRS number; eznpc.com names COOLPLAY TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED and igitems.com names IGITEMS LIMITED, both in Hong Kong. bloxboom.com and rpgstash.com published none on the pages we read.
- •Look at recent review volume, not the lifetime total. U7BUY showed 4.7 across 47,997 reviews with 6,736 in the last 12 months. odealo.com showed 3.8 across 450 reviews with only 7 in that window; eznpc.com's 4.4 across 1,105 reviews came with 3.
- •Is a delivery time stated at all? A published number can be held to. Silence cannot.
- •Match the income tier, not just the name. igitems.com listed Garama and Madundung three times on one page: $2.00 at 50M/s, $16.99 at 1100M/s with a Rainbow/Nyan/Disco mutation, $76.99 at 950M/s with traits.
- •Recognise the payment method. Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay leave a trail. A transfer to an individual does not.
Scams to skip
- •Anything you have to install. That patched Trade Machine script existed to rob whoever accepted the trade.
- •Pressing Received early. On a marketplace that button ends your protection; it is not a receipt.
- •A deal moved into Discord DMs. Off-platform means off-escrow.
- •Income claims that do not match the listing. If the price says base tier and the seller says 1100M/s, one of them is wrong.
- •A price far under the pack from a seller with no recent reviews.
What brainrots cost
There is no single price, because income tier and mutation move a brainrot more than its name does. U7BUY puts the range on its shop page: "Prices range from $0.1 for Random lucky blocks to over $400 for Secret/God tier Brainrots."

We are not the cheapest on the first two. bloxboom.com listed the same-tier La Grande Combinasion at $1.19, and igitems.com's lowest Garama and Madundung listing was $2.00 for a matching 50M/s version - an individual seller's offer, not a store price.
