StarPets ranks first for its own name plus MM2 with a page called "Buy Murder Mystery 2 Items | From $0.03", second with its MM2 item-swap page, and third with a "Get a Free MM2 Godly" promotion. The TikTok and YouTube results around it are code guides. That is a site with a lot of people asking whether it is real, so here is what we can and cannot tell you.
The disclosure matters more than usual here: BloxUltra sells MM2 items and StarPets is a direct competitor. Everything below is what its own pages and its Trustpilot profile show as of 8 September 2026, with the things we could not verify marked as exactly that.
What StarPets is
A Roblox item marketplace. Its navigation lists nineteen games - Adopt Me, MM2, Steal a Brainrot, Grow a Garden 2, Grow a Garden, Blade Ball, Blox Fruits, Pet Simulator 99, Rivals, Dress to Impress, 99 Nights in the Forest, Fisch, Forsaken and others - with an MM2 section filtered by Knife, Gun, Pet and Miscellaneous, and a "StarPets Swap" / "MM2 Swap" feature for exchanging items you own against its stock instead of paying.
Its Trustpilot profile, claimed in January 2023 and categorised as a Video Game Store with contact info listed as United States, describes the company as "The #1 Roblox Marketplace in the World! We do everything we can to ensure our customers' experience."
The prices
The MM2 page's own title says from $0.03, and that is not marketing. On the listings we saw, rendered in the browser's local currency: 2026 seasonal items (Strawberries, Sunset, Neopolitan, Tourist, Pier, Floral) at 0.03-0.04, Bubbles at 0.08, Nightfire 0.04, Biogun 0.03, Candies 0.03, Icewing 0.8, Luger 0.92, Heartblade 2.9.
Two things to understand about those numbers. They are marketplace listing floors - the cheapest current seller - so they move, and the cheapest listing is not always the one that delivers fastest. And they are cheap because the items are cheap: commons and seasonals have almost no trade value, which is why a marketplace can list them for pennies. The MM2 value list shows what actually carries value; the gap between a 0.03 seasonal and a godly is where the real decision is.

The reviews
As of 8 September 2026: 4.5 "Excellent" from 10,841 Trustpilot reviews, with "no recent history of asking for reviews" - meaning the volume is organic rather than invited. Trustpilot's AI summary of 4,132 recent reviews says reviewers "overwhelmingly had a great experience", citing price and speed. Individual recent reviews at the time of fetch: "have over 60 purchases and all have been completed successfully"; "been using the swap feature for a while now and it seems to have always been an easy and secure way of getting what u want"; and, from a self-described sceptic, "I was VERY skeptical but then it worked".
That is a strong record by any marketplace standard. For scale, Eldorado - which we reviewed in is Eldorado safe for Roblox - sits at 4.4 from 276,000 reviews; Traderie, a trading board rather than a shop, at 2.4 from 103.
What StarPets doesn't publish (or we couldn't read)
This is the honest gap in the review. The pages we could load did not state:
- •How items are delivered, or how long it takes. For MM2 the only mechanism is an in-game trade, so it must be that; the site did not tell us who trades, when, or what happens if a seller doesn't.
- •Fees on purchases or swaps.
- •Refund or buyer-protection terms.
- •The legal entity behind the site. Trustpilot lists only "United States".
Its FAQ URL returned a 404 when we tried it. None of that is evidence of a problem - plenty of legitimate marketplaces bury this in a help centre - but it means we cannot tell you the terms you would be buying under, and you should find them before paying. A marketplace's page-one reviews tell you that most orders go fine; the terms tell you what happens when yours doesn't.
The codes and the "free godly"
StarPets runs promotions, and promotions attract imitators. Its "Mystery Summer 2026: Get a Free MM2 Godly" page ranks on its own SERP, and creators publish "All 10 MM2 StarPets Codes" style guides. Two rules keep this safe: enter codes only on starpets.gg itself, and treat any page that wants your Roblox password, a "verification" login, or a purchase to "unlock" a free item as a scam. StarPets or a store?
They solve different problems.
A marketplace - StarPets, Eldorado - is where you go for the cheapest possible price on low-value items, for choice among many sellers, and for swapping. Prices are floors that move, delivery depends on the individual seller, and the platform's protection terms are what you rely on when something goes wrong.
A store owns its stock, sells at a fixed price, states its delivery on the product page and answers for the order as one company. It costs more per item and is the right tool for a specific godly you want delivered predictably. Verdict
Legit, cheap for commons, well-reviewed at real scale, and with a swap feature traders like. The open questions - delivery terms, fees, refunds, who runs it - are not red flags, but they are unanswered on the pages we could reach, and for anything above pocket money you should get those answers before you pay.
