Full disclosure first: BloxUltra is our store. We sell Adopt Me pets, so weigh this comparison knowing who wrote it. Every claim about the other options below is sourced from our own published reviews - is Eldorado legit, is U7BUY legit, and the structural marketplaces vs direct sellers breakdown - and we tell you plainly where a marketplace wins.
Unlike some trading games, Adopt Me has a real in-game trade window with a confirmation screen on both sides. That is genuinely safer than gift-only delivery - but it does not make trading risk-free. The most common Adopt Me scam is the "ninja-edit": a seller swaps a pet out of the trade in the split second before you confirm, betting you will not notice. Watch the screen until the exact moment you both lock in.
1. BloxUltra - direct seller (our store)
We own our stock, so there is no seller lottery: Adopt Me pets are listed with live prices, checkout runs through Stripe or PayPal, and delivery is a standard in-game trade in about 10 minutes. One company took your money and the same company delivers and answers support - 24/7, run by us, not by whichever independent seller happened to list the pet you wanted.
Best for: first purchases and anyone who wants a specific legendary or neon pet today without vetting a seller first.
Watch out for: breadth - a direct store stocks what it stocks. A marketplace with thousands of sellers will sometimes list a pet variant we do not currently carry.
2. Eldorado.gg - the big marketplace
Eldorado is legitimate and the biggest option: published seller rules, a documented dispute process, TradeShield escrow that holds your money until you confirm delivery, and a Trustpilot profile at 4.5 across roughly 240,000 reviews when we checked in July 2026. Its pet selection is deep, and heavy competition between sellers means the lowest sticker price for a common pet is often found there.
The trade-off is the seller lottery - every listing is a different independent seller, so speed and communication vary. And the same warning applies here as everywhere on Eldorado: pressing "Received" ends your buyer protection instantly. Confirm only after you have the pet in your inventory, not before.
Best for: price-hunting on common-to-rare pets, and pets a direct store may not stock.
Watch out for: the "Received" button, and any seller who asks you to move the trade conversation off Eldorado's chat. Full review: Is Eldorado legit for Roblox?
3. U7BUY - the established alternative
U7BUY is real and established - Trustpilot profile claimed since 2016, 4.8 across roughly 47,000 reviews in July 2026 - with a wide pet catalog and competitive marketplace pricing.
Our honest reservation, stated plainly: how delivery actually works for a specific game is the part most U7BUY reviews skip, and the site-wide rating tells you little about the individual seller behind your listing. Read the full U7BUY review before a first purchase there.
Best for: comparison shopping alongside Eldorado.
Watch out for: assuming the site-wide score describes your specific seller's reliability.
4. eBay - the generalist
eBay's buyer protection is real and buyer-friendly, but pet listings are unvetted and you cannot verify traits before paying - a "Neon" or "Mega Neon" claim in a listing title is not proof, and there is no game-specific escrow. Sellers are also usually individuals, with all the variance that implies.
Best for: buyers who already trust eBay's dispute process over game-specific alternatives.
Watch out for: trait claims you cannot verify pre-purchase. Check the pet's real demand tier on the Adopt Me value list before deciding what a fair price even looks like.
5. Discord trading servers - peer-to-peer
Free and common in the Adopt Me community, and also where the "ninja-edit" scam thrives: a trader swaps the offered pet at the last second before confirming, or a fake "trusted middleman" simply keeps both sides' pets. A real trade window helps only if you watch every second of it.
If you trade peer-to-peer, check both sides' fair value first on the Adopt Me value list so you know when an offer is actually a lowball.
Best for: trading with people you already know and trust.
Watch out for: last-second trade-window swaps, middlemen you did not choose, and "double or nothing" flip offers.
Side by side
| Accountability | Escrow | Typical delivery | Price level | Scam risk | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BloxUltra (direct) | One company, end to end | Card/PayPal protections | ~10 minutes | Market-benchmarked | Low |
| Eldorado.gg | Platform arbitrates sellers | TradeShield | Varies by seller | Often lowest sticker | Low-medium |
| U7BUY | Platform arbitrates sellers | Platform-held payment | Varies by seller | Competitive | Low-medium |
| eBay | Generic dispute process | Buyer protection | Varies by seller | Varies wildly | Medium |
| Discord trading servers | None | Real trade window (watch it) | Instant or never | "Free" | High |
So which should you pick?
If you want the lowest sticker price and do not mind vetting sellers, Eldorado is a legitimate place to hunt - just respect the "Received" button. If you want the pet in your inventory ten minutes from now with one company accountable end to end, that is the direct-seller model, and it is what we built. Whatever you choose: check the real demand tier before you pay, and never look away from the trade screen until both sides have confirmed.
